DESA ARCHITECT.
Creator of the Pascal Dalous Architect Agency PARIS.
Now PDA Architecture.

Graduated as a DESA Architect and registered with the Order of Architects in 1981, I began my career as an employee and partner on major projects. In 1985, I decided to set up my own business. From the start, I integrated computer tools into my practice, using Architrion, one of the first 3D and 2D modeling software.

During my early days, I participated in several competitions, winning my first projects. My clients came from the public and parapublic sectors. Among my notable achievements during this period, I designed a 300-seat performance hall, inaugurated by the Ballets du XXe Siècle and Maurice Béjart, as well as a school group and various public and industrial facilities.

By chance, around the 2000s, I discovered commercial architecture, a field in which I developed new concepts with Design Agencies. I had the pleasure of supporting La Poste in the creation and prototyping of its new post offices, which are now in service, and the creation of La Banque Postale. At the same time, I specialized in industrial architecture, becoming an expert in the design of natural gas storage and compression stations. I was also the designer of the architecture of the Dunkirk LNG terminal, a project with high environmental quality.

By developing a tertiary architecture department, I have carried out numerous renovations, whether heavy or light, of Haussmannian, heritage or modern buildings, ranging from 200 m² to 30,000 m². Over the course of my career, my agency has grown, with a team of up to 12 to 15 people, made up of architects, graphic designers, economists and draftsmen. The digital tool has been at the heart of our creative and organizational process, allowing us to respond effectively to the varied needs and requirements of our projects.

My clients have always been major accounts, such as town halls, regions, EDF, GDF, La Poste, banks and various franchises. Since 2008, we have integrated environmental approaches into all our projects.

In 2016, we made a shift towards parametric architecture, allowing us to explore new creative avenues.

Since 2021, after a 5-year transition period, my agency, under the name PDA Architecture, continues to develop large and prestigious projects.
